SpinFin

What happens to your data when you read, write or click through

Effective date: 15 October 2026.
This notice covers the independent SpinFin information site and the editorial team that runs it. We decide why and how the data described below is used, which makes us the controller for it. We are not SpinFin Casino, and nothing you type into SpinFin’s own registration or cashier reaches us. The notice is organised by what you are doing on the site, because the data differs in each case.

If you only read: what the server sees

Opening a page sends your device’s address on the network, the type of browser and device, the page you asked for and the time of the request to the server that hosts the site. That is how the page reaches you, and how we spot a broken page or an abnormal burst of requests. We use it on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and securing the site.
Cookies are separate. Those needed for the page to work are set without asking. Any cookie used to measure how pages are read is set only if you agree, and you can withdraw that choice or block cookies in your browser at any time without losing access to the content.

If you e-mail [email protected]: what we keep

A message gives us your e-mail address, whatever name you sign with and the text you send. We use it to reply and, if you have pointed out a wrong figure, to correct the page. The basis is our legitimate interest in answering readers and keeping the pages accurate.
We keep the exchange for as long as it takes to deal with your message and any correction that follows, and then delete it. If you ask us to remove a message, we delete the whole exchange, including our own reply, from the mailbox and from any copy we made to correct a page. Please leave out passwords, card numbers and copies of documents; we have no use for them and will delete them if they arrive. If you send a screenshot, black out account numbers first.

If you follow a link to SpinFin: whose data it becomes

Once you open SpinFin, its own privacy policy governs what it collects. For orientation, registration there asks for an e-mail and password, your full name, date of birth and gender, a phone number and address, and an account currency, and you accept its terms and privacy policy. Before a first withdrawal it asks for an identity document, proof of address and proof of the payment method, and review usually takes 24 to 48 hours.
Your browser may tell SpinFin which page you came from, but it does not carry your name or any e-mail you wrote to us. None of that passes through this site. We do not see your registration, your deposits, your documents or your balance, so we cannot correct, delete or export them. Requests about that data go to SpinFin through its live chat, which runs 24/7.

If you share data with others who help run the site

We use service providers for hosting and, with your consent, for measuring page use. They act on our instructions and receive only what they need for that task. We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to advertisers. Where a provider processes data outside the United Kingdom, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold, including limiting who on the team can read incoming messages.

If you report a wrong figure and also want your SpinFin data deleted

The two wishes go to two different places. Suppose a reader writes to say that a payout minimum on one of our pages looks wrong and, in the same week, wants the registration data held by SpinFin deleted. The first goes in one e-mail to us: we correct the page and, on request, delete the whole exchange. The second goes to SpinFin through its live chat, which runs 24/7, because we do not hold that data and cannot act on it for the reader. That data is the full name, date of birth, gender, phone number and address that SpinFin collects at sign-up.

If you are under 18

The minimum age for gambling in Great Britain is 18, and this site is written for adults. If a message reaches us from someone who is under 18, we reply once without keeping the details beyond that and delete the message afterwards.

If you want to see, correct or delete what we hold

Under UK data protection law you may ask us to confirm whether we hold your data and to give you a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict its use, to move it to another service where that applies, and to stop us using it on the basis of legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Write to [email protected] from the address you used before, and say which right you want to use. We answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

If a legal request reaches us

We disclose personal data to a court, police force or other public body only where the law requires it, and we limit the disclosure to what the request covers. Where the law allows, we tell the person concerned.

If this notice changes

When we change what we collect or why, we update this notice and the effective date at the top. Any change that goes beyond wording will appear on this page before it applies.
